I forgot to blog about this again!
Earth Hour was last Saturday, March 28. I participated by turning the lights off at my parents' house in Phoenix. After first telling me I couldn't, my dad finally relented by going to a movie so he didn't have to participate. A serious lack of candles in the house meant no reading. So basically I sat in the dark by myself for an hour and talked to Matt on the phone. Matt went up to the top of twin peaks to see lights go off in the City, but he said he really didn't notice anything.
So, all in all, kind of boring for us. I had been hoping to go to an event or a participating bar, but it didn't work out. Maybe next year.
